Hardware Installation:
Open the case's cover, push the hard disk to the socket tightly. Then close the cover and fasten the screws.
Plug the USB cable to the USB port located one your computer. Next,connect the other end of the USB cable to the front end of this device. The hardware installation is completed.
Some computer's USB ports(like Toshiba and compaq notebook) have noenough power to supplying the hard disk. In this case you can use the split USB head to get more electronic power from another port. (Refer to the figure).
This 2.5 inch HDD case just for HDD with height less than 9.5mm

1.Before unpluging this device or turning off your computer, right click the remove-device icon (on the right-bottom corner of the screen) to power off this device.
2.As with all hard disk drives it is recommended that the data is backed up regularly to protect up on the unlikely event of data failure.
3.Don't move or disconnect this device from your computer while it is reading or writing data. This may cause damage to the hard disk.
4.For a new hard disk, Must do partition and format before you can use.
Do not place this device near a heat source or expose them to direct flame or heat.
5.Never place the product in close to equipment generating strong electromagnetic fields. Exposure to strong magnetic fields may cause malfunctions or corrupt data.
